Fabric Friday!

Happy Friday!!

Since Easter is right around the corner, I thought I would include some fun facts:

The largest Easter egg ever made was over 25 feet high and weighed over 8,000 pounds. It was built out of marshmallow and supported by an internal steel frame.

The Easter bunny arrived in America with German immigrants in the 1700’s who brought an egg-laying hare called “Osterhase” and children would build nests for the colored eggs. Eventually the Easter bunny would expand his deliveries to include chocolate, candy, and eggs and nests would become baskets.

The first White House Egg Roll began in 1878 with Rutherford B. Hayes.

After Halloween, Easter is the biggest best-selling candy holiday in America.
