Another Giveaway…

National Quilting Day at MSQC!!

Last week was a wild and crazy week on the calendar.  It started off by “Springing Forward” on Sunday, followed by St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday.  Throw in basketball’s March Madness and a full moon, not to mention ending the week with National Quilting Day!  {whew, I’m tired just writing all of that. haha}  Well, just to keep the excitement level up a notch, we’ve decided to have another give-away.  This is in conjunction with our June Quilters’ Bus Tour.  Sign up for the bus tour before April 1 – in the next 10 days – and be eligible for a $129 gift certificate from Missouri Star Quilt Company.  Who doesn’t like to spend prize money!??! “These are a Few of Our Favorite Quilt Shops” is a two day trip visiting eight fabulous quilt shops in Northwest Missouri and Southwest Iowa.  It’s designed to spend more time shopping (1 ½ hours at each shop) and less time riding.  There will be other shopping opportunities in each town to entertain non-quilting traveling companions too. Classes with Jenny and a GIVEAWAY!

I’ve missed you all this weekend!!  I’ve been lucky enough to be here at the Shop almost all week (last week) and have had a blast with everyone.  We were busy receiving new product and adding to our shop online!  You might have noticed all our new fabric by the yard! Don’t worry, if you didn’t find what you were looking for, we are continuing to add to it everyday.

We sure had a great time doing the Jelly Roll deals….  Our girls (and guy) in the shipping department worked like crazy to get everything out!  We sure hope you had as much fun as we did!!

How ’bout that Hexi ruler???  AMAZING, right!??!  I’m not gonna lie, I am in love with it!  I love that Natalie went and made a super complicated (and very overwhelming to me, pattern and made it easy!)  What a great sister, right!   🙂  Once you start making your hexagon quilts or table toppers please, please show us some pictures!!  We’d LOVE to see them!!

Mom (Jenny) has just begun her second round of filming for her next Quilting Class with Sympoz.  Her first class is going well, and a lot of you have given her great feedback and asked for more!  We are excited to be able to keep having fun and being creative!!  AND to celebrate we want to have a giveaway!  One lucky quilter will win a seat in Mom’s first online class (Quilting Quickly).  The benefits are enormous, getting your questions answered by her, and of course her clear and concise instructions. If you are gonna cook- do it CUTE. (and a giveaway)

You know, that’s my motto.  Whatever you have to do, make the best of the situation…..and we all know that cooking and cleaning  need some serious help in that department.  So why not make yourself look good in the process.  (a cute apron can change a bad attitude in a jiffy)

That is why this Holiday season we are sporting these ultra cute, reversible Christmas aprons.  Oh, Riley Blake…how I love thee.

Ship-shop-shipping away!

Obviously we were gonna be REALLY busy Friday with orders, right.  I mean we were giving away an item that retails for $14.95 for FREE!  We were overwhelmed (in a good way) with the response, and were shocked by how quickly we sold out!!  We want to assure you that we gave away HUNDREDS of Snippets turnovers, so we decided to show you what we had to contend with Friday into Saturday!  (yes, it was a very long day that turned into a blur!)  🙂  Holy packages! Now, we live in a fairly small town,  so we warned the post office, and they brought in extra people to  handle that much extra mail for a Saturday! (how cool is that?)

What a blast we had!
