Fabric Friday!!

Happy New Year!

Who is ready for a New Year?! I still can’t believe that 2012 is ending, I was so prepared (by “prepared” I mean did absolutely nothing!) for the world to end on December 21! But since the world will continue to spin, might as well look at something pretty, right?

Catch of the Day by Kanvas for Benartex

Maria’s Catch of the Day is a fishing person’s dream come true! The group includes handsomely printed fish and tackle, an incredibly realistic basket weave and manly houndstooth plaids-a fabulous combination.

Dancing in the Rain by Laundry Basket Quilts for Moda

Homeschool by LB Krueger for Windham Fabrics

Take out your pencils, erasers and notebooks because it is time for Homeschool by LB Krueger. There is no mystery behind the origins of this collection with its adorable patterns of uppers case letters, lower case letters and numbers.   This delightful collection is supported by equally attractive blenders of tossed flowers, stripes and tonal patterns.

Sweet tooth by Kanvas for Benartex Fabrics

Whoopie pies, jaw breakers, sprinkles and more-who can resist?! Not only are these prints sweet but they also come in popping pinks and brights. How cute would these prints be as kitchen décor-aprons, curtains, and tablecloths? Or how about party dresses, lunch bags, money bags and totes for the kids? Sew sweet!

Tea House for Benartex Fabrics

If you appreciate Asian art, this collection is meant for you. We’ve created an elegant hand-painted panel, delicately etched with gold, and then added an entire collection of beautiful Asian-inspired florals, geometrics and textures to complement the group.

Aster by Williamsburg for Windham Fabrics

Something old becomes something new with WILLIAMSBURG’s newest collection Aster.  This collection is a contemporary take on fabrics found deep in the textile archives at Colonial Williamsburg.  Elegant patterns of flowers and leaves are painted in beautiful shades of gold, black, grey and cream.

Have a great day!
