If you subscribe to our Quilter’s Daily Deal e-mail (and if not, you should, click here and check the box that says deliver it daily), you may have noticed something different.  If you scroll down past the Quilter’s Daily Deal description, there’s a pleasant surprise … more deals!
Let me explain.  We know how much you all love the Quilter’s Daily Deal and some of you have even e-mailed us wishing that you could put more than one into your cart.  Sadly, this is not possible, as many of our deals are sold below our cost, so if you could buy unlimited deals, we’d be out of business!  However, we want to give you the next best thing.  We now offer “Daily Specials” and “Weekly Specials”, in addition to the daily deal, which can be seen at the bottom of the daily deal e-mail.  They may not carry as deep a discount as the Quilter’s Daily Deal, but the beauty is that you can add as many of them to your cart as you’d like!
The new “Daily Specials” are available until midnight of the day the e-mail is sent.  The “Weekly Specials” run from Sunday at midnight to the next Sunday at midnight.  So basically when you see a Weekly Special just know that it runs until the nearest Sunday at midnight.
Since we offer $5 flat shipping (in the U.S), the more you add to your cart, the better value you get for your money.  And remember, if you spend more than $100, your shipping is free (US only)!  We also offer great international shipping rates.

A tutorial in progress! (and crossing things off my list)
We are always working on things and at any point we probably have a dozen things in various stages of completion. Â We get overly excited to share things with you all and sometimes we can’t wait…. take this quilt for example.
It’s a terrible cellphone picture, but it shows a bit of what we did with it.  I can hardly wait to get the tutorial out for this one!  It is so fun and easy with a little twist on something you already know!!  🙂
The fabric is adorable, it’s a new line from Riley Blake called Alphabet Soup.  It comes in boy or girl colorways and I just love it!!  It is definitely a refreshing addition to the baby (especially specific gender) lines.  It seems like we are always lacking a good baby line. Not anymore.
Did you have a good weekend?  Finish any thing or get any sewing done?  The Quilt shop was insanely BUSY this weekend and we had a lot of out of town visitors!!  {which we LOVE}  Today we are just going to focus on catching up.  And boy do I have a lot of that to do.
The kids had a great first day of school and I am busy trying to get a schedule together and get back on track.  My youngest had his pre-school orientation this morning (which is why the blog is late)  I can’t believe he will start classes on Wednesday.  (only half day, thankfully cause I would be really, really lonely)
What a crazy fast summer that was, for us. Â I am excited though, looking forward to Fall. Â I have some fun house projects I need to work on, especially curtains. Â I take my precious time trying to decide on what I want and I think I am close to having it all figured out! Â Don’t worry, I plan on sharing my progress.
