A Sassy little apron…

This week at the Shop, Mom made this apron using a new pattern we got in.   It turned out awesome.  I love the detail, that cute little ruffle and the buttons.  Who wouldn’t feel “all dressed up” to clean [or cook] in that little number?

I do have to say that I am in love with the fabric!  It is from ‘In the Beginning Fabrics’ and you’ve probably heard about it, the line is called ‘Housework Whenever’.  It has some way cute quotes like, ” Happiness is relaxing after the shop  hop”  When I learned to sew, I forgot how to cook”   and my favorite one ” A clean house is a sign of a broken sewing machine!”  I just think it is such a fun vintage-y fabric…and I enjoy the wit and humor.

The pattern is called Sassy little Apron, by Barbara Brandeburg. It is adorable and went together really easily.  A perfect thing to make for yourself (stash buster) or as a Hostess gift!  (or wedding shower gift)

GO, sew something today!  [you won’t regret it]
