We love creating fast versions of previous tutorials we have featured. This Quilt Snip is of the Sail Away Block that comes together so quickly and it’s truly a BREEZE! … Get it? It’s a Sail Boat block… haha. 🙂 Click the button to watch the tutorial and shop for supplies!
Pony Express Quilt
Pony Express riders began their 2000-mile journey in St Joseph, Missouri. (Just 50 miles from Missouri Star!) They raced across the frontier, delivering mail to Sacramento, California at what was then an incredible speed – 10 days! (Thank goodness we live in the age of instant communication! I love technology!)
The Pony Express is an intricate block, but it’s really just half-square triangles and flying geese, so you’ll have it stitched up faster than the Pony Express itself! Click HERE to watch the tutorial.

Tea Cakes Quilt
In February, Jenny made a Sweet Treats quilt using Cake Mix Recipe 1 by Moda. It was so quick and easy, we just had to try another Recipe!
This week Jenny is using Recipe 2 to make Tea Cakes. This block reminds me of a sweet little bear claw, and it comes together in a flash – with minimal waste! Click HERE to watch the tutorial!
Stack & Flip Quilt
“I want you to remember something: YOU are the designer of this quilt!” – Jenny
The Stack and Flip Quilt is a super simple jelly roll pattern. The real fun comes with great fabric choice – and the choice is all yours! Jenny uses rainbow-hued Spin Basic Bright 2.5″ Strips by Timeless Treasures, but any jelly roll with graduations of color will work.
We’ve put together a whole list of pretty jelly roll options for you HERE. Find something you love, and give it a try! You are the designer! (Be sure to share a pic of your Stack and Flip. We can’t wait to see your design!)

Fence Rail Star Quilt
I just watched Jenny’s Fence Rail Star tutorial, and all I can think is, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
Seriously folks, this quilt is so easy! It’s just strip sets and snowballs, nothing fancy. But somehow, those simple little elements combine to create a gorgeous, intricate pattern of stars and stripes.
Make this one up in red, white, and blue, and you’ll be set for The Fourth of July! Click HERE to watch the tutorial!
