For more than 600 years, the Tower of London has been home to the most extravagant riches of the British Monarchy: velvet robes, golden crowns, and jewel-encrusted scepters as old as the kingdom itself. As a collection, they’re known as The Crown Jewels, and boy are they something to see!

It all began with a single quilt block. Just one lonely old block whose story had long been forgotten. Luckily, Jenny’s a real sucker for antiques, and she fell in love in an instant! And right away, she knew she wanted to recreate it.
She carefully pieced a big pile of copycat blocks, stitched ‘em together, and was delighted to discover a secondary block appear out of nowhere! Learn how to make this pretty quilt using half square triangles made out of strip sets!
There’s a pretty big football game this week. Best of the season, they say. And while I do enjoy a touchdown or two, those yards of turf just can’t compare to a yard of brand new quilting fabric! The All Stars quilt is based on a design by Jenny’s cute husband, Ron. It’s a quick, modern pattern that makes use of two of our favorite precuts: 10 inch squares and 2.5 inch strips.
Today is the winter solstice—the shortest day of the year. Jack Frost has officially arrived with his chilly days and long, icy nights. But believe it or not, there are a few flowers that manage to thrive in the midst of such inhospitable weather!
English primrose brightens even the grayest winter day. Pansies add a splash of color against the pure white snow. But my favorite blooms of all are found on Jenny’s new Flower Glass quilt. These simple petals and hourglass blocks will keep you cozy all winter long!
