New Fabric Friday!!

Good Morning my fabric lovers!

So, you know how I like to do fun facts during the holidays and things, well I have some about MSQC that are pretty mind-blowing. From January to June, MSQC has sent out 96,000 packages, quilted 600 quilts, cut 23,200 yards of fabrics and typed 56,000 emails and that was just the first six months!! You guys sure like to keep us busy, and we love it!

Show and Tell! From our amazingly talented quilter-friends!

Ahhhh-MAZING!  I have so many fun, quilts to show you!  I have been bombarded by emails showing off your great work!  I am having trouble narrowing down which ones to show now and which ones to save!  🙂  What a great problem to have, huh!  (if you don’t see your quilt up yet, just wait! It’s coming!)

This first one is made with a Hoopla Layer cake and Jelly roll!  One of TEN, Rita from Kansas is making for her grand-kids!!

Cute, huh! She made it after taking Mom’s online class!

Next up is her Giddy quilt!

Isn’t it darling! {not sure why this picture one is so small!}

Next up is a beauty from Teresa…

Breathtaking….right?!? I just love it!

Here are two beauties from Carol N.

She made these both from tutorials of ours!!  What great work Carol!

Pretty, pretty!!

She used Arnold’s Attic and the tumbler template for this one!

For this quilt she used the ‘Simpler Time’ line by Holly Taylor!  I love how it turned out!  (and this tutorial)

Now, I feel like I may be in a ‘Beautiful-Quilt Coma’  ahhh, such a perfect thing for a Monday!  I feel so much better already, don’t you!?

Thanks to all the quilters for sharing their beautiful work with us!!  We are so grateful for the visual feast!  (wow, am I looking forward to Thanksgiving, or what??)

Don’t worry!  I have a TON more to show!

Have a happy day!

Jelly Roll Race

The first Friday of every month we have a ‘Friday night Sew’!  Anyone and everyone is invited to come sew with us!  Everyone brings a snack to share and a project to sew.  This week we ‘spiced’ it up a little with a Jelly Roll race!  It was a total blast! The Ladies were crazy and sewed the night away with most everyone finishing a quilt top!  We just love the group of women who come every month and look forward to visiting and catching up with them all.  Such great friendships have been made and  whenever we get together we have a ‘rolling on the floor’-laughing out loud- good time!
Just check out these quilt tops!
The tops were finished in record time {approx. 45 minutes} Amazing!  Some of the fabrics that were used,  Terrain by Kate Spain, Summer House by Lily AshburyDogwood trail by Sentimental Studios, Full Circle by Kathy Schmitz, Kona Solid Dusty Palette, Max and Whiskers by Basic Grey, Butter Cup by Fig Tree and Swiss Chocolate!
The finished size before a border was [approx] 58 X 60  Such a great size for a gift and a fast, easy project!

Show and Tell

I’ve recieved several emails from Caroline and she has been a busy girl!  She has made some amazing quilts!  I am just blown away.  Today I am going to show you all the amazing work Miss Caroline has been doing!

First up is her ‘Strips and Stars’ quilt.   {She used this tutorial}  I just love the solid black background against the bright colors!

This next one she made for her Great Granddaughter (born June 10th) She used a Buttercup charm pack and this tutorial.

So sweet! Just perfect for a baby!

The next one is just a beautiful as the others!  She made the X’s and O’s Quilt that Mom taught in her online class with Sympoz, and used the fabric ‘Lovely” by Sandy Gervais for Moda.  I just LOVE the way it turned out.  One of the best lines this Spring for sure.  (in my opinion, of course. *wink*wink)

Last but certainly NOT least, she is working on a Dresden Plate quilt!  Like I said, Caroline has been a busy girl!

She used the Wild Flowers IV and it just looks stunning!

Caroline has certainly stolen the show {and tell} today!   Thanks for showing us your amazing handi-work Caroline.

I just love each of your sweet emails and appreciate you taking the time to send us your pictures!

FYI:  We had a Fed-X semi truck pull up to the Shop yesterday!  Oh my stars!  We have SO MUCH new stuff, we are busting with excitement!  So, just stay tuned!  We will be showing and talking and sharing with you all about it!

If you can’t wait one more minute for Hometown by Sweetwater, or Deb Strains new line ‘Meadow Friends, we have them in!  SO EXCITING!  {So much more.  And all the yardage too!}

Have the BEST Wednesday possible!  🙂

Talk to you soon!

Sarah
