WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Another Giveaway…

National Quilting Day at MSQC!!

Last week was a wild and crazy week on the calendar.  It started off by “Springing Forward” on Sunday, followed by St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday.  Throw in basketball’s March Madness and a full moon, not to mention ending the week with National Quilting Day!  {whew, I’m tired just writing all of that. haha}  Well, just to keep the excitement level up a notch, we’ve decided to have another give-away.  This is in conjunction with our June Quilters’ Bus Tour.  Sign up for the bus tour before April 1 – in the next 10 days – and be eligible for a $129 gift certificate from Missouri Star Quilt Company.  Who doesn’t like to spend prize money!??! “These are a Few of Our Favorite Quilt Shops” is a two day trip visiting eight fabulous quilt shops in Northwest Missouri and Southwest Iowa.  It’s designed to spend more time shopping (1 ½ hours at each shop) and less time riding.  There will be other shopping opportunities in each town to entertain non-quilting traveling companions too. Retreat*Bus Tour*New look on the Forum

SO much to talk about!!

First of all I wanted to remind you all about our FUN retreats we are doing this year!  Mom has some fun things planned and Carolyn {our amazing coordinator has totally outdone herself}  If you are wanting a relaxing-fun-quilting filled retreat ours is the one for you! Go here for more information.

Even if you aren’t close, you could fly into Kansas City Airport, we are only an hour north of Kansas City.  {the easiest airport in the world to get in and out of.  just my personal opinion.}

The first one is coming up here soon….April 14, 2011  Call us to day to reserve your spot.  {and heck, bring a friend!!}  We can’t wait to meet you, hang out with you and sew right along with you!!

Next up:  The Bus Tour!  It is going to be an absolute BLAST!  We are promising the most fun bus, with the best prizes and snacks!  And we aren’t kidding, either!  {pinkie promise}  I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say, it will be the best bus trip you’ve ever been on.  🙂  I think if you have an anniversary or birthday coming up, you should request a weekend with us!  LOL!

Did anyone notice the new look in the forums??  LOVE IT!  It just made that fun place, even more easy to navigate and it looks great too!  I love the new look.  It seems so clean and concise!  Let us know what you think.  Also, if you haven’t been there in a while, you must check it out!  They are starting a new block swap, and have pictures of their projects and just a lot of fun!  Oh ya, and we added facebook connect to it!  So you can log-in easier!  AWESOME!

Hello 2011. We have fun things in store for you.

Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to make more time for quilting & sewing activities? Here at Missouri Star we’ve got some events scheduled to help you out.

We’ve organized a Bus Tour called “These are a Few of My Favorite Shops” for Friday & Saturday, June 3-4th. Traveling in a loop through Northwest Missouri &Southwest Iowa, this tour takes you to charming country shops and is designed to spend more time shopping than traveling. We promise a luxury limo bus ride and wonderful food. Price of the tour is $129 including lodging (double occupancy). Reserve your seat now by contacting – Carolyn@missouriquiltco.com

And if you’ve ever wanted to meet the gang at Missouri Star, watch a Jenny tutorial in person or create a project with her help, we’ve got a series of quilt retreats planned just for you! “These are a Few of My Favorite Precuts” is a series of five retreats to be held during 2011. The first will be Thursday through Saturday, April 14-16 and with a 1930’s Depression Era theme. Space is limited to 20 quilters.   Other retreats are scheduled for the second week of July, August, September and October, each with a different theme and quilting project.
