Happy Friday everyone!!
So it’s Memorial Day weekend, and since I have done it in a while, I thought we should have some fun facts.
- Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day, due to the decorating of graves, and was to honor and remember the soliders of the Civil War. It was not till after World War I that it included all soliders that served and died for our country.
- The month of May was chosen due to May flowers.
- Memorial Day was not officially Memorial Day until 1967.
- In December 2000, Congress passed a law requiring all Americans to pause in remembrance at 3:00 pm.

I think I might start doing a new format for my Friday blogs, what do you think? Do you like it better this way or the other way?
