Well, did you all have a great Holiday weekend? We sure did. Family barbeque’s and lots of work. We had some fun stuff planned for the Shop and I’m happy to report that I LOVE it and can’t wait to show you what we did!!! 🙂
But, today I wanted to share some amazing quilts that Alison from California sent me. This is what she said in her email:
“ Hi Missouri Star Quilt Company! I wanted to share a few projects that I have made from your products. I have the Dresden Plate, tumbler and hexagon template and love them all. On the tumbler quilt, I used your quilt-as-you-go method and quilted each strip as I went along. Thank you for all the fabric and instruction videos that you have. Having fun quilting in California!!! Alison”
Here are her BEAUTIFUL quilts…
Square in a square! CUTE!!!
Love the tumbler!!
Look at all those adorable dresdens! Great job!Oooh, hexagons! So pretty!
You can’t go wrong with pinwheels! And I love that cute bird too!!
Alison, thanks for sharing your great quilts!
* remember if you want to share too, email me at: sarah AT missouriquiltco DOT com.
So did you just love that tutorial Natalie did on the T-shirt quilt!?! She is an excellent teacher. I am so excited that she did it though, because we have had a lot of interest in that technique!
*Remember if you make a quilt {especially one form a tutorial or a pattern we sell, send us a pic! We LOVE to see what you are doing!!}
So, today I have some GREAT pictures of quilts from none other than YOU! YOU guys and gals are the best customers/friends a girl could ask for and I’m just thrilled to see what you are all up to. I have to ask, what is more fun than quilting? Sharing-showing(off)-oohing-and ahhing over each others quilts/projects, thats what!!!
Wow, right! I am just in love with it. Carol says she added another row to make it a King Size quilt. {she also used some thimble-berries from her stash for the borders.}
I just want to say a BIG GIANT thank you to you all. Thanks for sending us the pictures and sharing your experiences, thanks for being loyal-amazing- customer-friends! We really could’t do it without you all.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Stay safe, wherever you are.
I’m crossing my fingers that you get at least a few minutes {hours, really} to sew!
Last but certainly NOT least is this beauty using Civil War Home front fabric, by Barbara Brackman. She said she used a pack of turnovers for the border and fat quarters for the center blocks.
Thank you Teresa for sharing your quilts with all of us!
