A windmill is the ultimate symbol of optimism. It takes a nuisance like persistent wind and turns it into a source of power. And the harder the wind blows, the more good it does! If only all our troubles could be transformed so easily!
Today’s new quilt celebrates the happy, dependable work of the windmill. Jenny uses a Simple Wedge Template to make it a quick and easy project.
Above, is the diagram of this quilt and if you click on the image you will get a FREE downloadable/ printable PDF of all of the supplies needed and well as your own diagram.

Twinkle, twinkle, beautiful quilt… I can’t believe how quickly you were built!
Ask a scientist, and she’ll tell you exactly what the stars are: burning-hot gases like hydrogen and helium. (Not quite as romantic as diamonds in the sky.)
But if you ask Jenny, she’ll show you how to make your own twinkling stars out of the simplest quilting ingredients: half-square triangles and 4-patches.
Isn’t it darling? Which fabrics will you use to create this adorable star?

The two step is a simple dance. No shuffle-step, ball change, grand jete, triple-spin. No sir! It’s just two simple steps. Quick, quick, long, long. Repeat. And though it’s simple, it sure is fun!
This week Jenny is working on the Two Step Quilt. It so easy and cute, and you can bet your boots that it’s a joy to make! Click HERE to watch the tutorial!
In this week’s tutorial, Jenny is working on a tricky old block. Of course, with precuts and a few tips and tricks, you’ll have no trouble whipping up this pretty quilt!
It’s called Snail Trail, but those fantastic swirls remind me of ocean waves, whirligigs, or swirling tornadoes. This quilt is so full of movement and energy, no one would ever guess how easy it is to put together!
And! To make things even more easy-peasy, our team has put together an awesome, printable, PDF file that breaks down exactly how to cut up your 10″ squares! How great is that!? Click the Diagram above or below for the full print out!
