Shea is a local (to us) well, at least her Hometown is local. She has moved far away for a time, and is planning on returning. (another thing we have in common!) Shea and I got to meet in real life at Market. She had been in the Shop before and got to hang out with Mom and Natalie, but I was always gone. I just had a great time getting to know her and love everything she has done. I love the colors she puts together and her patterns are gorgeous.

When I saw the Playhouse Pattern, I knew we needed it in the Shop ASAP! Little Sis Hillary to my rescue. {I’m so lucky to have her. She whipped this playhouse up in just a few days-between designing and sewing a wedding dress. I’m NOT kidding!} She is just that good.
When I put it up, my almost 7 year old played for a good 3 hours inside of it. I’d say it was a hit, for sure! 🙂

We got this pattern into the shop and instantly loved it! We made it with the Portobello Market Charm pack, by 3 Sisters. Here is a picture of our finished product (on the wall). It is today’s DAILY DEAL….Have a great weekend everyone.
I have quite the thing for table toppers! They are fast, easy and add so much to my house….with not a lot of effort! We made this cute little thing…..I call itbasket full of sunshine. However the patterns true name is “Baskets of Blessings”. It is one of those great patterns that use only ONE charm pack. It is the perfect size for the middle of my table with a vase of flowers to go on top! This is a project you can make in a day. If that doesn’t cure the “wintry-gray sky-ready for spring or I’m gonna kill someone” blues, I don’t know what will! 🙂 Get the charm (we used basket of flowers by Mary Engelbreit) and the pattern in the shop! Quick, easy, cheap….AND straight to your door. Booyah! That’s just how we do it around here!
Or don’t. No biggie. I won’t be able to guarantee that you will get rid of the blues however. 🙂 Just saying.
