In the heart of Florence, Italy, stands an 800-year-old palace. The Bargello Palace is now a museum that contains artistic masterpieces by Michelangelo, Donatello, and Cellini.
The palace also houses a set of 17th century chairs embroidered in colorful waves. For years, quilters have been stitching up intricate patterns inspired by those beautiful Bargello chairs, and today, you can too!
Click HERE (or the diagram image below) for the break down of what size strips to cut.
Below, we have shown two different color pallets using Jenny’s method for the Bargello. Both colors are stunning, what color schemes will you use?

This pattern looks great when using different bug, floral, or scrap fabrics but I also find it completely adorable in solids too!

Twinkle, twinkle, beautiful quilt… I can’t believe how quickly you were built!
Ask a scientist, and she’ll tell you exactly what the stars are: burning-hot gases like hydrogen and helium. (Not quite as romantic as diamonds in the sky.)

But if you ask Jenny, she’ll show you how to make your own twinkling stars out of the simplest quilting ingredients: half-square triangles and 4-patches.
