This shop is located in a building that at one time was a jewelry store and the original ceilings and double front display window serve as reminders of the shop’s heritage. We truly love these old buildings!

Sew Seasonal shop hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday, just like the main Missouri Star shop. We’d sure love to see you soon! If you have a visit to Hamilton planned, be sure to check out the rest of our Visitor’s Guide series!

In the meantime while we’re waiting for your arrival, tell us…. which seasonal fabric area would you gravitate toward first?

  • Karena

I have to admit that despite my ever growing stash of Christmas fabrics, (and I don’t know how it happens), I would be drawn to them like a moth to a flame! I can’t help myself!

  • JenniferMSQC

If loving Christmas fabrics is wrong, Karena, I don’t wanna be right! Hope you’ll be able to visit us here soon!

  • glenda

I would purchase the patriotic fabric. I would love to make a quilt of valor! I have a nephew who served in Afghanistan and I would like to make one for him.

  • celia

What an awesome shop for seasonal fabrics. Lovely assortment, and love the layout of the shop. I am so happy for your success, and how you have brought new life to your town. Your story is so inspiring…the article in Wall Street Journal, the NBC news spot, and your new magazine, and this additional shop. You are amazing, and blessed.

  • Dawn

Christmas…I’m always looking for Santa Claus fabric. Sew Seasonal looks fabulous!

  • Eileen Wilson

My daughter and I have booked our flight! We are coming all the way from Portland Oregon just to visit MSQC. We’ll be there August 1st & 2nd to shop until we drop. And, we’re hoping we’ll get to meet Jenny. This is a memory-making trip for us and we’re so excited!

  • Clara Chandler

It would depend on the upcoming holiday….I seem to be inspired by a deadline so the patriotic fabrics would be a draw with July 4th soon.

  • Auntie Betty

The concept of a ‘seasonal fabric’ shop is genius!!!

  • Roxanne Eller

Definitely the Halloween fabrics!!! Seems to be the favorite holiday in our family!!! I’m hoping to visit this late August/early September. Can I just get a job at MSQC and stay???

  • Grandma E

I am so jealous. I live about 250 miles north of you in Bellingham WA near the Canadian border. I would so love to visit the shops but am truly thankful for the web site and the tutorials. They are AMAZING.

  • Eileen Wilson

Funny, my name is Grandma E to some of my grandkids, too. I wish for you a trip to MSQC someday also. We love the tutorials and can’t wait for our trip. Keep us in your prayers for a safe and fun-filled time!

  • JenniferMSQC

We can’t wait to meet you both, Eileen!! Shoot Jean at message at retreats@missouriquiltco.com and she can let you know what’s going on those two days!

  • JenniferMSQC

We are truly thankful for you, Grandma E!!

  • JenniferMSQC

Come on down, Roxanne! I’m sure we can find a place for ya!

  • JenniferMSQC

    Thanks so much, Auntie Betty!

  • JenniferMSQC

    Chances are we have it!

  • JenniferMSQC

Thank you so much, Celia! We couldn’t do it without you!

  • JenniferMSQC

I’ll bet he would love that, Glenda!

  • Roxanne Eller

That would be a dream job!!! In the 80’s I was an assistant manager at a fabric/craft chain store *similar to JoAnn’s*. I didn’t make much money and most paydays owed them!! LOL!! Now I get SS so I could follow my dreams and (reinvest)!! Hope y’all have an awesome summer!!

  • Randi Johnson

I was fortunate enough to visit the main shop yesterday, and to meet Jenny! Both my husband and I were very impressed with the quality and variety of fabrics. I only visited the main store and one other before eating lunch at J’s Burger Dive (yum!) and heading home. That means I need to come back, right?? I can only say It might be a good thing I don’t live closer! (Might have a larger stash, but MUCH less money!)

  • Saralyn Miller

My mom and I would definitely gravitate towards the fall section! That is by far our favorite season of the year with all of the cozy colors. And I wouldn’t be able to walk out of your store without a little bit of each Halloween print. 🙂

  • justhaveinfun

Would love to go, live across the river from you. Jenny needs to come to Portland. Don’t you think? I love her tutorials and have learned so much from them. I’m even finishing my quilts now. Have a ton of fun!!

  • Eileen Wilson

I wonder if Jenny or MSQC will be represented at the Sisters Quilt Show in Three Sisters Oregon in July? That would be very cool! My daughter and I are going. Jenny, if you are tuned in, this would be a great opportunity for your company (and us!)!

  • Teresa from Goshen, Indiana

We just visited Bellingham, WA the first week of June! Loved the area. Drove to Mt. Baker, Fairhaven shopping (love Village Books) Chuckanut Drive, and San Juan Islands – never saw any Orcas on our cruise, but the company offered us a 1/2 price future trip – Definitely coming back in a couple years and stay longer so we can visit Vancouver and Victoria. I, like you, love Missouri Star – Jenny’s tutorials taught me to quilt and for the past 2 years I’ve been improving and learning soooo much from her. I want to make a trip to Hamilton also and have plans to do so next year. For now, I am happy that Jenny is coming to southeast Indiana in Sept to do a trunk show at a shop hop event on the Ohio River, and I just bought a ticket! Anyway, your Bellingham home just caught my eye as I read along here, so I wanted to say hi.

  • Pam

    You will love it!!!

  • Eileen Wilson

We just got back from our trip to MSQC. We spent all day Saturday in the four stores and visiting the retreat center. Jean gave us the best tour and showed us the best hospitality. Everyone was so nice and we felt very welcomed. We did our part to stimulate Hamilton’s economy too! Can’t wait to go again! It was worth every penny.
