A bit of a tension problem…

A bit of a tension problem…

have you ever  been ‘there’?  Things can’t always go right, right?    Haha, well that is what happened to me when I tried to sew this weekend.

Lucky for me I have my Mom {Jenny, some of you  may be familiar} on speed dial, and she helped me ease the tension in no-time flat.  Hahaha.

Also, you may have noticed a bit of an issue we have had with our site…tension of a different sort. LOL. As we continue to grow we have little bumps along the way, and we learn from each

of them.  Thankfully, we have my genius{please, don’t tell him I said that} Brother who seems to fix those things,

even if it means re-building ‘something or other’{insert, big computer talk that I don’t understand}

Anyway, besides the obvious tension, I had a fabulous weekend spent with family and friends.  It was quite relaxing and I hope we can have more weekends like that.  {sooner, rather than later}

The weather surprised us and was beautiful!  We had a big egg hunt at Mom’s followed by the most delicious dinner.  The kids had a blast playing with their cousins while the grown-ups talked.  {i even got to hold the tiny baby for a while!}  A guitar came out and in impromptu sing along ensued.  What a blast.

Pretty much, exactly what I needed.

How about you?  How was your weekend.  I hope it was lovely.

    We, too, had a wonderful weekend with family at our ranch. We laughed, ate too much, had tremendous storms (the weather kind) and went to church Sunday. What a blessed weekend we had!

    Hi Sarah,
    Glad you had a lovely Easter weekend. I hope the storms are far from you and your family. We had a great time, Sunday being the prettiest day in a long time. Spring is finally here in the Northeast!

    Just wanted to tell you I ordered the binding tool, last month, and was able to use it this week, for new almost finished quilt. I love it. It is the best thing ever. Before, I would cut and sew several times before getting just the right size at the end, not wanting to cut off too much and have a melt down. Not any more. I tell everyone about the binding tool. I purchased one for my mother also, and gave it too her for her birthday. Thanks for all the great tutorials. I love your site, and share with everyone I know, who likes to quilt or sew.

    had a great weekend – took our new little one to church for the 1st time. It was so much fun to buy her first Easter outfit and dress her to the hilt. Everyone at church couldn’t say enough about how gorgeous she looked and made me feel so great.

    That is great to hear Ginger! That is such a great tool, for sure. Heck, anything that can keep us from a melt down is a good thing! :) Hope you have a great day!
