Our favorite thing about Autumn isn’t all the delicious pumpkin spice treats, football games, hayrides or cute decor (although we love all of those things). New Friday Tutorial: The Checkered Dresden Quilt

In a favorite Christmas storybook, a tiny Christmas elf dips his brush into a can of checkered paint as he works on a chessboard. Checkered paint! How magical is that? One quick brush stroke and the work is done!

In today’s new tutorial you’ll learn how to make the gorgeously intricate Checkered Dresden quilt, and it’s so simple, it’s almost as easy as a swipe of checkered paint!

Here are all the details to make your own Checkered Dresden Quilt! Yes, you really only need 2.5″ strips to make the dresden! This technique is so easy and the results are fabulous!

“Cuddle” Up This Fall with Shannon Cuddle + Giveaway!
