We are growing so much!!

We are growing so much!!

You may have heard that we’ve opened up a new shop, Sew Seasonal, and are working on another. But that’s not the only growing news I got. The quilter’s, those amazing people who you send your quilt tops to and they send you back a timeless treasure, have just received 3, that’s T-H-R-E- E, new Gamill long arm quilt machines. That makes a total of 7 machines!

We have some of the best customers in the world!

  • Kathy

Whoo hooo! Wow, 7 long arm machines! I’ve been meaning to send some of my tops in. Its great to see your quilting studio. I wish you could provide quilting patterns that we could choose from instead of the broad categories like “holiday”……Also, I saw your cost per inch but how do you calculate the number of square inches for a twin size quilt for example? Do you give a cost estimate over the phone before we send it in? Do we pay for it first then ship the quilt to you? I love it that you can provide the backing and the batting and will even sew on the binding, wow! Do you also provide a service to baste quilt sandwiches with those amazing long stitches that a long arm can do if we want to do the actual quilting on our domestic machine?

  • MissouriQuiltCo

Hey Kathy! We have hundreds of patterns to choose from and you can get estimates right on the site, take a look here (and we can even do your binding 🙂 We don’t do any basting services yet though, that’s a good idea! – http://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/machinequilting

  • Margaret

A special quilt kit I purchased for my mom to piece and assemble is thier right now…all the way from New York! This was so exciting to see this morning. MQC makes us both want to move to Missouri 🙂 Thank goodness for the website! Happy quilting on those beautiful machines 🙂

  • Cindy

I think it is wonderful that your company has been able to hire more locals. Every time I watch one of your videos your music with the little bird coming out makes me smile. I love watching Jenny on the videos you share with all of us and I learn so much from her. If I am ever in your area I would love to come for a visit.
    Thank You!

  • Momjlb2

I was wondering what is the most common problems you have with Quilts sent in?
what if they are wonky? or they pucker?

  • carlie

So thankful you offer this service and that you have such talented people to make our quilt tops into treasures!! 🙂

  • Quilt Stash

I have 3 there! Am patiently waiting their return with your gorgeous quilting.
On the form I would like a box for thread color and pattern that says ‘you choose’. The color choices are very limited and none of them really matched one I sent in: no brown, natural thread choices. I do not have a clue what would compliment the top and blindly checked a box. I look forward to the daily deal and tutorials landing in my mailbox. Thank you!

  • Cyndi

I love you! From someone who doesn’t have a quilt shop real close, you are a life saver. I love the daily deals and your $5 shipping. That is probably my biggest reason I don’t order from other websites is the shipping costs. I will be sending in some of my quilt tops that are to big for me to enjoy quilting. Love your tutorials too. Did I mention I love you! LOL.

  • Ann Becker

Holy Cow. That’s one way to stay on top of things. I too have a long arm business in my home but alas it is only me free motioning custom designs..*sigh* if only I could turn into 7 machines and keep up with my back log…

  • Karen

Congratulations on the recent expansion! My friend Shelli and I wait for
your email each day to see if the deal of the day is going to be
something we have any chance of resisting! We text each other and talk
about it. Usually she has more self control than I do. 🙂
    I love
your website, the fabrics are so yummy and I love Jenny’s tutorial
videos. They are especially helpful for me as a rookie new quilter. I’m
nearly done with my first quilt top and I love the craft!
    Please don’t change a thing!

  • JenniferMSQC

Thank you for your support, Cindy! We would love to have you for a visit. Maybe consider trying to attend one of the retreats?

  • JenniferMSQC

Friendship & fabric – love it! Thank you for being our friend, Karen. We are so grateful you are here.

  • Barbara

Hummm just wondering how many quilt tops do you need to get quilted before you get a certificate and a plaque put on the wall claiming one of the machines? You all did such a beautiful job on my quilt tops I almost cried with joy. I know my heart was filled up to the top with pride of such wonderful job. Thanks to all the quilters.

  • ARChery

Woohoo! Go Ladies! May Gid continue to bless you and increase you!

  • Maureen Henault

Congratulations on your latest expansion. You guys rock! Love your products and tutorials. my friends and I talk about you all the time like we were your best friends! We even challenge each to do a block when new tutorials come out. We live in a retirement community and we have five quilters right in the neighborhood. We run back and forth all day showing off our latest projects, asking for opinions or help, and discussing new projects. Other days we go shop hopping and do some charity sewing for shelters and Veterens. We belong to a guild and have retreats and classes too. life is good, and you just enhance it for us. Thank so much to all at MSQ!

  • Pat

Wow. Congratulations! 7! almost like Christmas coming late! Sent in 4 tops to be quilted before Christmas and am so excited to be getting them back soon. I check my porch when I get home every day anticipating a box waiting for me! Had no idea you had so many to be quilted. Would be my dream job to be working at MSQ!!!!

  • Laralee Nelson

What size do you need the backing to be when sending in a quilt top and backing for you to quilt? I watched a class Jenny did on Craftsy and she said 5 inches top and bottom and at least 4 on the sides. There isn’t anything I can see when filling out the web form that gives the needed measurements for the backing. Thanks. Exciting to see your excellent business growing.

I see that some get the DD right after midnight. Mine doesn’t arrive until 645 am and you can be sure I am logged on before then, but I give up my beauty sleep for it!! Oh well. The DD is more important
