Stretched Periwinkle Quilt

The periwinkle plant is so resilient, it can survive extreme heat, drought, pests, you name it! Those pretty little flowers just bloom and bloom—even when life isn’t perfect!

So here’s my new motto: be like a periwinkle! Don’t give up if your stitching isn’t straight! Don’t despair if the seams don’t match up perfectly! Just do your best, and have fun creating your own Stretched Periwinkles with Jenny! Click HERE to watch the tutorial!

Snail Trail Quilt

In this week’s tutorial, Jenny is working on a tricky old block. Of course, with precuts and a few tips and tricks, you’ll have no trouble whipping up this pretty quilt!

It’s called Snail Trail, but those fantastic swirls remind me of ocean waves, whirligigs, or swirling tornadoes. This quilt is so full of movement and energy, no one would ever guess how easy it is to put together!

Pony Express Quilt

Pony Express riders began their 2000-mile journey in St Joseph, Missouri. (Just 50 miles from Missouri Star!) They raced across the frontier, delivering mail to Sacramento, California at what was then an incredible speed – 10 days! (Thank goodness we live in the age of instant communication! I love technology!)

The Pony Express is an intricate block, but it’s really just half-square triangles and flying geese, so you’ll have it stitched up faster than the Pony Express itself! Click HERE to watch the tutorial.
