Today’s new tutorial is such a fun block that combines a few basics! It combines a square in a square with 2 snowballed corners and it’s called the Flutterby Quilt! This week’s tutorial is one that we get asked about so often! It’s the Easy Cathedral Window Tutorial and you’re just going to love making this one! All you need is your favorite color/print charm pack and a solid/white charm pack and you can make this super fun mini quilt/table runner sized project!
There are so many basic quilt blocks that become the building blocks of other new designs. For example, the half square triangle can be put into thousands of different arrangements to create completely new quilt patterns. Then add other basic blocks to it and you’ve got so many more new options! That’s how today’s pattern was born. Put together some half square triangle blocks and four patch blocks and you get the Four Patch Stars Quilt! It’s beautiful and super simple to make!
