Stars and Stripes!

Stars and Stripes!

What a beautiful quilt you made Sarah Sue!

Meet my Sister in law, Sarah Sue! She has been quilting for us for 7 months now, and has recently been struck with the quilting ‘bug’.  There is nothing like being around fabric and gorgeous quilts that will make you a believer in the craft!!  Bahahahah!!

Sarah wanted to give her Dad something he’d LOVE for Father’s Day, so she got busy, with the help of her big sister and made this quilt for her Dad!!  He is very patriotic, and it was the perfect gift for him!  Not very often do grown men cry, but this gift brought her Dad to tears in an instant!

Thank you Sarah and Wayne for sharing this quilt with us, and allowing us to display it and show it off!

Do you have any patriotic quilts or table toppers or wall hangings??  How do you decorate for the 4th?  I’d love to hear, or see pics!!

Have a wonderful week and a safe Independence Day!

God bless America!

~Sarah

ps: We are working on getting directions written up, so we can share the pattern with you all!

It’s an awesome quilt. Her father will remember this day forever. Quilts made with love have the power to touch lives.
I was wondering what is the name of the quilt she is working on now. I love star quilts.
Appreciate in advance your reply. Evita

That is something. I will be looking for that pattern. My only problem, with four boys I bet I would have to make more than one

  • Missyezt36

  • Nstitches4u

Beautiful quilt, Sarah Sue! I know your dad is so proud of you.

  • Conda

This is one of the prettiest flag quilts I have ever seen. I would love to have the directions to make one to display in my house at the 4th. We have a lot of military in our family, and this would be great to have at family reunions and such. Thank you for sharing the picture. Just gorgeous.

  • MJF

Anxiously waiting for the pattern. My husband is a Vietnam Veteran and it will be pefect for my grandson.

  • Jackie MSQC

Wonderful!! I hope they both enjoy it!!

  • Pat

I so want the pattern or instructions for the “Flag” quilt. Are you any closer to the pattern?

  • Toni Renae

Please please please sell a kit for this kit, or at least give us the pattern/instructions! Both of my parents are retired from the US Army and a quilt like this would mean SOOOOO much!
