Jenny – I love this idea of putting together embroidery blocks! I will try this for sure. Would love to see more tutorials using vintage items, such as tablecloths, handkerchiefs and doileys. I have so many of these items that have been in the family and would love to get them out and showcase them where people can appreciate instead of in a box or drawer hidden.

Love this awesomely simple quilt-as-you go idea and it’s darling with these garage sale finds! Those would be cute in black and white ‘sashing/ borders’ too! I’m sharing this one with my quilting group..we love quilt as you go, as it’s more doable on a home machine and fewer pins necessary (sections secured by quilt as you go stitching) for adding fancy FMQ to it! One could reverse the 1-inch seam to fold it down on the back of the quilt pattern for a reversible scrappy quilt back…..and on any size block, and maybe even mixed sizes –yet compatible blocks like a center panel! Some of my unfinished blocks could get finished into quilts more quickly!!!
