  • Norma

  • Kim Quinn

    Great Job MSQC!

  • Geri

So excited to see your company on NBC last night!! Especially since I got to see Jenny in person in Lebanon, MO!

  • Christi55

I watched it and was so impressed with what you and your company has done for your town!!!! Excellent!!!! PS love the disappearing pinwheel video!

  • Bonnie Hill

Congratulations Jenny and family! How exciting to see that on the news. I have watched your business grow for several years now, and love watching Jenny’s tutorials. I was reading just a couple days ago on your website about how your business started. Utah is my home, and I always wondered……… How exciting to find out we have more than just a hobby in common.

  • Sheila P

I can’t find a tutorial on the disappearing pin wheel you showed on NBC NIghtly news. Is that not a tute yet? I’d love to know the cutting directions!

  • Ginger

Congratulations!! This story made me so happy. Yay for Jenny and everybody at MSQC. Proud to shop with you.

  • Teresa

Shame on you Jenny! Eleanor Burns pioneered Quilt in a Day!! You better stop taking credit for her work!!!!!

  • Kathy M Boice

Loved the NBC news! I am looking for the tutorial on the Double Slice quilt.

  • Kathy M Boice

Teresa, I don’t think Jenny used that term. The news man mentioned making a quilt in a day, not in the same reference as Eleanor Burns does with her “Quilt in a Day” theme. I did not see anything that pointed to Jenny taking credit for anyone else’s work. She is fantastic in her own right. I hope you will take another look at the video. I think you may have misunderstood. Thanks,

  • Marilyn Skaggs Enlow

Jenny did not use that term at all. Brian Williams did in the intro. She is wonderful in her own right, and doesn’t have the need to take someone elses claim to fame. She is much to honest and forthright to stoop to that level, so shame on you, for mis hearing and laying blame where there is none.

  • Lori

Very interesting. Seems as though there is always a few who want to throw rocks at others. Jenny in no way, shape or form indicated that she created the “Quilt in a Day” process. Jenny and the entire Missouri Star Quilt Company should hold their heads high and proudly for what they have done for the quilting community. Reminds of the saying that people rain on your parade because they’re jealous of your sun and tired of their shade.

I, for one, may not be quilting today had it not been for the wonderful tutes and website. One of the first quilts I made was a free pattern on the MSQC website with great instructions. (See the photo below). I have learned so much from this bunch that I had to take a moment to shout out and thank Jenny and the entire MSQC bunch! Thank you all for the blessing of quilting and creativity you have helped build in my life! You all rock!

Teresa, we at MSQC and Jenny herself would never consider taking credit for anyone else’s work. Sorry if it appeared that way to you!

  • JenniferMSQC

Thank you so much, Lori! We love what we do and we’re so honored to have you in our community!

  • JenniferMSQC

I did seethenews, and was surprised I was watching her you tube videos just recently. Jenny has inspired me to try quilting. But I am wondering, where did she get that nifty iron? The one that pops up.

  • JenniferMSQC

Elaine, so excited that you were inspired to give quilting a go!! The iron that “pops up” is fantastic! It’s the Oliso Auto Lift Pro Zone Iron and we carry them in the shop and on the site.

  • Pattie Kelley

I saw this on the news as well, all the way from Minnesota, and am in awe!

  • Rose Anne Jacquette

I was so surprised and pleased to see Jenny . She is such an inspiration to others and is so enthusiastic with her projects. I’m hooked!!!!!!! I can’t wait to try new projects as she posts them. Great job and congrats to all those involved in making this business a success.
