So, I am seriously in love with minkee. We have several different packs in the shop (they come in 5″squares and 11″squares) and we just finished this one into a rag quilt. Can I just say that this is the softest stuff ever. I love, love, love it. Really.
This Minkee Tween pack by Benartex comes in pre-cut (my fav) 11″ squares. (an inch bigger than the layer cake) We cut flannel into 11″ squares, then paired the two pieces, sewed diagonally across them and then connected them. (just your basic rag quilt technique) At the end of course, we snipped the edges, and came away with the ultra soft perfect for a baby or tween or ME, kind of quilt.
Seriously, it literally took us all of 2 hours to make. Start to finish!
