AQS Show in Des Moines

So yes, we were there and we met SO MANY of you there too!!  Mom thought it would be fun to take pictures with customers that recognized her……thinking there would only  be a few!  What a SURPRISE!!!  You guys blew us away!  Who knew that so many quilters would recognize her?!!  We were in hysterics by the end of the first day!  I am going to upload about a million (well, not really but so many that I put them into collages.) to Facebook so you can check them out there.  Tag yourself or your friends and share them if you want!  We just had such a great time and we are so grateful to you all for sharing in the fun that quilting is!

Now, check out our booth!

So colorful and cute, right!?!? So amazing what you can do with a template!! Love it!
Natalie and Mom ready to demo some rulers!!

We really did have such a great time and are looking forward to doing several more shows in the future, maybe making our chances of meeting more of you even better!!

What shows in your area are worth going to?  Let us know what you think.

Have a great day and don’t forget to check out facebook to see more pics there!  🙂

Our Shop Hop Quilt!

We are in the Show Me Safari Shop Hop again this year, and are having a blast!  This years theme is Halloween and we made a row quilt.  Each Shop designed it’s very own row.  I just wanted to show the picture of our quilt off to you!

Mom {Jenny} and Jill. Can you see my cute Dad at the quilt machine back there?

Can you guess which row we designed??

If you are on facebook you saw that I bought  a new {to me} sewing machine this morning! I am so excited!  The machine I’ve been using is awful and I’m excited to be able to sew some more.  I have some really fun projects and ideas I can’t wait to start on!

Mom of course, never stops sewing and we have more and more in the works for you all!

SO, have a great weekend.  I hope you do something you love.  Go out and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather with your family, or sew-sew-sew!

Talk to you soon,

Sarah

Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

We have had a ton of email asking about an easier way to make a pink ribbon block!  Mom and I have been working on this and have come up with a great, quick and easy block!  The video will be out this week, so stay tuned!

I just couldn’t wait though, to show you this adorable purse {made by Jill} using the ‘Breast Cancer’ fabric we have and the Maggie Bag Pattern by Nellies Needle!

Isn’t it adorable!  I love the ric rac scalloped edge and the added embroidery she did!!  Thank you Jill! I love it!

I found this calendar on the Susan G. Komen site.  It’s a list of fun and meaningful things to do throughout the whole month!

Have a wonderful week!
